Super Cruise 23

The 23rd Washington Cruisers annual Super Cruise was held August 2nd at the Washington Crown Center Mall. This year, finding a site to have our Super Cruise proved to be a bit difficult, so we are very grateful to the staff and management at the Washington Crown Center Mall for allowing us to use a portion of their parking lot, in the front of the mall, for our cruise and fund raising activities. Even mother nature worked with us and we had a beautiful sunny day!

We checked in 210 cruise cars for this event…

muscle cars, antiques, classics, and many hot rods. Henry Ford may have said, “You can have a car any color you want as long as it is black.” It seems that cruisers never heard those words… there were cars of every color of the rainbow. Many spectators as well came to look at all of the wonderful cars we had on display. They also supported our fund raising activities and for that we are grateful. Thank you!

The Chinese Auction was a hit with so many nice prizes. Many people went home happy with their winnings. The 50/50 winner won $346.00 of which he donated $40.00 back to our charity, The Ronald McDonald House.

Thanks to all of you for your help…we hope to do even better next year.
